PHILADELPHIA (AP) -Chris Pronger and the Philadelphia Flyers lost the argument - and a point.

Niklas Hagman and Rene Bourque scored shootout goals to give the Calgary Flames a 3-2 victory over the Flyers on Friday after surviving an apparent goal in overtime.

The Flyers appeared to win in overtime, but Mike Richards' power-play goal - a slap shot past Miikka Kiprusoff - was waved off because of an unsportsmanlike conduct call against Pronger. Officials ruled Pronger obstructed Kiprusoff's view with his glove.

Asked if he received an explanation, Pronger said, "There was no explanation on the ice because they know they screwed up, that's why."

Pronger said he was directing traffic on the ice.

"I wasn't turned around waving at him," Pronger said. "I put my hand back on my stick on the puck went in the net. It's infuriating. It should've been two points instead of one. There's no question about it. All you have to do is watch the replay. It doesn't really matter, does it? I'm not going to get into a he said she said with the refs."

Replays showed Pronger extending his hand toward Kiprusoff while briefly facing him.

"It's the right call," Kiprusoff said. "Maybe the referee called it a little late, but he saw it. That's why he called it. I think everybody saw it. He did it before the shot, but that's the rule. If you do it, that's automatically 2 minutes."

Hagman and Bourque both beat Flyers goalie Sergei Bobrovsky with wrist shots in the shootout to help the Flames win for only the third time in 13 games.

"We were rewarded for our game, and maybe we haven't been rewarded on this trip so far," Flames coach Brent Sutter said. "We did a pretty good job in our own zone against a team that has as much power as they have offensively. Obviously, in a 2-2 hockey game, to have a goal disallowed is a break for you, but it was the right call on the ice."

Claude Giroux scored for Philadelphia in the shootout, and Kiprusoff turned away Danny Briere and Richards.

The Flyers, the highest-scoring team in the NHL, lost for only the fourth time in 17 games. They entered the game having scored at least five goals in six of their last eight games.

Curtis Glencross had a short-handed goal, and Steve Staios also scored in regulation for the Flames. James van Riemsdyk and Nikolay Zherdev scored for Philadelphia.

In the only meeting between the teams this season, Zherdev scored the game's first goal - his eighth of the season - at 3:09 in the second period. He took a feed from Jody Shelly near the left faceoff circle, maneuvered to center ice and beat Kiprusoff to the glove side.

Glencross tied it with an unassisted, short-handed breakaway goal. The play began on a turnover by Richards at the Calgary blue line, and ended with a forehand-to-backhand shot past Bobrovsky. The goal was the 10,000th in Flames' history.

Less than 2 minutes later, van Riemsdyk flicked in a wrist shot off a centering pass from Richards, following Andreas Nodl's swipe of the puck from Robyn Regehr behind the Flames' net.

Van Riemsdyk has three-game goal streak, with six points in his last five games, after not scoring his first goal of the season until Nov. 22 against Montreal.

Staios' tied it at 2 at 7:09, with a one-timer by Bobrovsky.

Bobrovsky, continuing his strong rookie season, stopped 28 of 30 shots. Kiprusoff made 34 saves.

NOTES: Philadelphia's Scott Hartnell had his four-game points streak snapped. Calgary's Olli Jokinen played in his 900th NHL game. ... Jay Bouwmeester extended his consecutive games streak to 446, the longest current run in the NHL. The streak began on March 6, 2004.
