In order to properly facilitate the program and work out any kinks, the city capped the number of food truck licenses handed out during the pilot program. The Calgary Flames claimed the last license granted and are proud to announce the Flames food truck will launch in the fall of 2012!
The truck will be used at a variety of events including Flames, Hitmen, Roughnecks and Stampeders games, events held at the Scotiabank Saddledome and events hosted by corporate sponsors. The menu will be tailored to the event the truck is at, offering consumers a unique culinary experience that serves up high-quality food combined with fast service.
