The Core Purpose of the Flames Ambassadors
 
  1. To foster and develop links with the public and business community to generate a broad base for financial and public support for the Calgary Flames Hockey Club and the flames Foundation for Life.
  2. To promote and encourage a continuing interest in the Calgary Flames Hockey Club and in the game of hockey generally.
  3. To serve as an independent organization acting as a goodwill extension of the Calgary Flames Hockey Club.
Requirements to be a Flames Ambassador
 
  1. Actively support the Vision and Core Purpose statement by providing volunteer time to assist in achieving those aims
  2. Must be a ticket holder/controller at an appropriate level
  3. Must be actively involved in the promotion of ticket sales and in some other of the activities of the Flames Ambassadors such as, but not limited to:
  • Pass on qualified sales leads to the Calgary Flames sales staff
  • Make actual service and/or sales calls on behalf of the Calgary Flames
  • Support and or organize group sales presentations on behalf of the Calgary Flames
  • Help organize, promote and support all community programs sanctioned by the Calgary Flames
  • Meet and greet (man the entrance doors with a handshake and a smile) at games
  • Promote programs such as Big League Experience, Adopt-A-Team, Reading Give it a Shot, The Flames Golf Tournament, The Ambassadors Celebrity Roast; 50/50 Program plus any others as designated from time to time
