1. How do I get a birthday message on the Enmax Energy Board?

Celebrate a birthday, engagement, anniversary, or other special occasion with a special message on the Enmax Energy Board during a Calgary Flames home game. To get your special message up at the next game call 777-4646; messages will generally appear during the 2nd intermission.  Please make sure to submit your request 48 hours prior to the game.

Flames fans, please be advised that birthday message requests will only be accepted until we have reached our per game limit; thank you for your understanding!

2. How can I propose at a Flames home game?
If you’re interested in proposing to that special someone in front of a sold out Flames crowd here’s your chance.  We will do the work to set up a very special night for you and your future fiancée which includes:

  • Two (2) tickets to a Calgary Flames game.
  •  At least 1 full minute of a TV timeout dedicated to your proposal
  • Energy Board full page complete with date, names, and congratulations, plus live coverage of the entire proposal taking place.
  • DVD recording of your proposal.
  • One dozen roses delivered by Harvey the Hound to your significant other.
  • Two Flames jerseys.
  • A $250 Gift Certificate to Flames Central.

The cost for a special night like this is $5,000.

3. How can I sing the National Anthem at a Flames Game?

The Calgary Flames are very proud to have Heather Liscano as our official singing voice, and retain her services for almost every single game.  However, we are always on the hunt for qualified fill-ins for Heather and are currently accepting anthem demos.  If you think you have what it takes, please submit a digital recording of you singing both the U.S. and Canadian anthems (a cappella only) along with your contact info to entertainment@calgaryflames.com.  If we are interested in having you come sing the anthem, one our friendly Entertainment Department staff will contact you for a live audition.

4. How can I get a ride on the Olympia (Zamboni) during a game?

Right now, all Olympia rides are sponsored by CO-OP and Campbell’s soup.  To get a ride you will need to take part in the promotion at any local Calgary CO-OP location.  Good luck!

5. How can I participate in a promotion/contest during a Flames game?

All of our contestants are either pre-selected, or chosen randomly throughout the game.  Look for Steve Strachan or our Stage Manager, Stacey Budziak, as they are always out in the crowd looking for our next winner.  We will have an in-game promotions page here on the website for the 2009/10 season, and it will launch for the first regular season home game.

6. How do I submit my song suggestion or ask a question about in-game music?

We have one of the best DJ’s in the business, and he is available to answer any of your questions pertaining to music at a Flames game.  I you have a question or a song suggestion please feel free to send an e-mail to music@calgaryflames.com.  Also check out our Flames Music link by clicking here for the most up-to-date warm up list, entrance song, goal song, and other theme songs heard at Flames games.

7. How can I get a copy of a feature that is shown on the Enmax Energy Board?

If you participate in a promotion or contest on the Energy Board, or if you just enjoy some the features or opening videos we do, you can receive a copy of it for a fee of $25. Please mail a written request to the Entertainment/Control Room Department with the following information:

8. How do I find out more information about some of the acts I have seen perform at a Flames game?

We have many live entertainment acts at our games, from the Bucket Boys to the Zooperstars.  If you are interested in how you can book these acts for your event or party, please e-mail the Entertainment Department at entertainment@calgaryflames.com.

9. Where can I find 50/50 numbers from previous games?

To find previous 50/50 numbers please go to the 50/50 Draw pages on the website. Beginning with the 2007-08 season, we will be posting the winning numbers after each home game.

10. Where can I go if I have a question or concern during a game?

If you have any questions or concerns during a game you can either ask an usher for help or go the Guest Services Counter behind section 226.
