Flames Foundation set to host Celebrity Shoot to Score for Kids
CALGARY, AB – The Flames Foundation for Life is proud to present the second auunual Celebrity Shoot to Score for Kids, presented by Concorde Group on Thursday, June 12th at the Calgary Firearms Centre. The event initiated by Sportsnet’s Rob Kerr, is in benefit of the CTRL-F Hockey Camp and the Flames EvenStrength Program through the Flames Foundation for Life.
The trap shooting event will host teams, each with a celebrity representative. Celebrities participating in the fundraising event include, Curtis Glencross, Kris Russell, Brian McGrattan, Ken King, Craig Conroy, Martin Gelinas, Perry Berezan, Joel Otto, Dana Murzyn, Jamie Macoun, Cassie Campbell-Pascall, Geoff Snider, Peter Maher and Terry Grant “Mantracker”.
The unique event will include an hour of safety training and an hour and a half of shooting, followed by a dinner and awards presentation at Schanks South location.
June 12th – Celebrity Shoot to Score event:
• 11:30am – Registration and Training
• 12:30-2:45 – Trap event
• 3:30-4:00pm – “Annie Oakley” Celebrity Shootout
• 4:00-6:00 – Dinner and Awards at Double Zero

CTRL-F Hockey Camp was created by Sportsnet’s Rob Kerr for youth from the Flames EvenStrength program and Hockey HEROS program. The two day camp includes on-ice and classroom instruction, hockey presentation, sports activities and a big league experience. This year the event will take place at SAIT on August 23rd and 24th.
The Flames EvenStrength program assists 200 kids per year with their financial fees for minor hockey registration. The program has assisted 3,000 kids in Calgary since 2000 and has the ability to impact many more kids and families in need. The Flames Foundation for Life is the main source of funding for the program.
