CALGARY, AB -- The Hockey East record book is going to have changed this afternoon.

Johnny Gaudreau has tied Paul Kariya for the longest point streak in Hockey East history, at 31 games. The Calgary Flames 2011 fourth round pick scored two goals and two assists in Boston College's 4-2 win over Notre Dame on Saturday.

During his point streak, Gaudreau has rattled off 29 goals and 61 points. In total, he has 69 points in 36 games this season and has been held off the score sheet just once during the 2013-14 campaign.

The 20-year-old leads the nation in scoring and is averaging an incredible 1.92 points-per-game.

The Hockey East quarter-final between Boston College and Notre Dame is now tied 1-1 with the deciding Game 3 happening on Sunday.
