Heat game postponed due to weather conditions
Hazardous weather conditions have forced Friday's game to be moved to Saturday
CHARLOTTE, NC -- Due to hazardous weather and travel delays in North Carolina, Friday’s 5:30 PM MST game between the Charlotte Checkers and Abbotsford Heat at PNC Arena in Raleigh has been postponed until Saturday, Feb. 15, at 3:00 PM MST.
This postponement may cause inconveniences and there will be several options for exchanging tickets. Those with tickets for Friday’s game may use them at Saturday’s game or exchange the unused ticket for one of comparable value for Sunday’s 10:30AM game at PNC Arena. Exchanges for Sunday’s game can be made at the PNC Arena box office. Finally, those who have purchased tickets and are unable to use them Saturday or Sunday may opt for a refund through Ticketmaster. For more information on exchanging tickets, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
This Saturday’s game marks the start of a five game road trip for the Heat. After the Heat and Checkers play again on Sunday, the Heat will then take on Milwaukee on Friday, February 21st, and then close the trip with a doubleheader on Saturday and Sunday against the Chicago Wolves. The Heat will be back in action on home ice February 29th and March 1st, against the defending champion, Grand Rapids Griffins.
Brandon Astle will bring all live Heat action this week on 101.7 CIVL FM and on www.teamradio.ca. The pre-game show begins 15 minutes before puck drop.
