Get up-to-speed on how Flames prospects are doing in WHL, QMJHL, NCAA and MHL

CALGARY, AB -- Flames 2013 first round pick Emile Poirier has hit the 50-point this season thanks to his two points in a pair of games last week.

The Montreal, QC native has 21 goals and 29 assists through 34 games this season and leads the Gatineau Olympiques in scoring. He is eighth in scoring in the QMJHL.

Eric Roy has not played this week as the Wheat Kings have been off since Dec. 14 and he was sidelined with a lower body injury prior to that. He was selected by the Flames in the fifth round (135th overall) in the 2013 NHL Draft.

Morgan Klimchuk is sidelined with a lower body injury and has not played since Nov. 23. He is, however, close to returning to action. The Calgary native recently signed a three-year entry level with the Flames.
