DES MOINES, IA -- The Abbotsford Heat closed out their seven-game road swing with a 2-1 victory over the Iowa Wild on Sunday evening.

The Wild opened the scoring with a power play marker from Brett Bulmer in the first period but that was all Iowa could muster.

Ben Street scored a pair of goals in the second period to give the Heat the victory, notching his fourth game-winner of the season. The pivot was named the game's first star for his efforts.

Drew MacKenzie, Josh Jooris, Chad Billins and Markus Granlund all collected assists in the 2-1 win.

Netminder Joey MacDonald turned aside 42 of 43 shots and now is 4-1-0 on the season.

The Heat will return home to play the Utica Comets (AHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks) on Friday, November 29th and Saturday, November 30th.
