Several Flames prospects put forth strong performances over the past week

CALGARY, AB -- Several Calgary Flames prospects came up with huge performances over the past week but Johnny Gaudreau's seven-point weekend has given him the nod as our featured player this week.

The Boston College junior went on a tear in his two games this weekend, rattling off three points against Boston University on Friday and four points against Army on Sunday. With 18 points in nine games this season, Gaudreau leads Hockey East in scoring. His 2.00 points-per-game average also leads the division.

The Eagles, who are tied with Providence College for top spot in Hockey East, rely on Gaudreau to lead them offensively and he hasn't wavered under the pressure. Boston College is 6-0-1 when Gaudreau scores a goal and are 6-1-1 when he records a point.

See how Flames prospects in the WHL, QMJHL, NCAA and MHL are doing this year in our weekly update.
