Gaudreau, Arnold notch collegiate milestones this fall
Both forwards have hit the 100-point mark at Boston College
CALGARY, AB -- Calgary Flames prospects Johnny Gaudreau and Bill Arnold have hit the 100-point mark this fall at Boston College, becoming the 74th and 75th players in Eagles history to reach that milestone.
Arnold, drafted in the fourth round (108th overall) of the 2010 NHL Draft, has played 127 games with the Eagles in his collegiate career. The senior hit the 100-point milestone on Nov. 8 in a 5-1 Boston College victory over Boston University, assisting on Gaudreau's game-winning tally. He also scored a goal in the victory.
Gaudreau, selected in the fourth round (104th overall) of the 2011 NHL Draft, picked up his 100th collegiate point on Oct. 19 in a 9-2 rout over Wisconsin. He had 1 goal and 2 helpers in the win. The junior has played 87 games at Boston College.
The winger currently has 14 points (7 goals, 7 assists) in 8 games, leading Boston College in scoring. He sits second in Hockey East scoring, trailing Mike Szmatula by a single point.
