REGINA, SK -- Calgary Flames defenceman Patrick Sieloff has been sidelined with a broken cheekbone.

The 19-year-old was scheduled to play in the Flames-Islanders game at the Brandt Centre in Regina, SK but was a late scratch after being diagnosed with the malady.

He will be seen by doctors on Wednesday in Calgary. More information will be available after that evaluation.

Sieloff was selected in the second round, 42nd overall, by the Flames in the 2012 NHL Draft.
