Flames assign Henrik Karlsson to Abbotsford

PrintCALGARY, AB – The Calgary Flames announced today they have assigned goaltender Henrik Karlsson to Abbotsford of the American Hockey League.
Karlsson has played 26 games with Calgary over the past two seasons recording a 5-9-8 record and a 2.79 GAA. The native on Tumba, SWE also appeared in 4 games with the Abbotsford Heat last season posting a 2-2-0 record. Karlsson was originally acquired by the Flames on June 25th, 2010 in a trade with San Jose for Calgary’s 2010 6th round draft pick.
