WHL Playoff Roundup: Tyler Wotherspoon
Portland defeated Kamloops in seven games
Blueliner Tyler Wotherspoon has been rock solid for the Winterhawks all year and he carried that success through the second round of the playoffs. The Surrey, BC native notched two points in seven games against the Blazers and picked up a plus-two rating when all was said in done. He was also incredibly disciplined throughout the series, taking just one minor penalty. In Game 6, he was sent to the sin bin for playing without a helmet. It stands as the only penalty he's taken through 11 postseason games this year.
Wotherspoon's two points against the Blazers pushes him to four in the playoffs, tying his total he set in 20 postseason games last year. He has a plus-eight rating through his 11 games.
The WHL Western Conference Finals kick off on Apr. 20th in Tri-City.
