Flames assign Irving to Abbotsford
CALGARY, AB -- The Calgary Flames announced today they have assigned goaltender Leland Irving to the Abbotsford Heat of the American Hockey League.
Irving, a native of Swan Hills, Alberta, has played seven NHL games this season and registered his first career win on December 23rd in a 3-1 win in Vancouver. He has a .912% save percentage and a 3.20 goals against average with a 1-3-3 record. Six of his seven starts have come in the second game of back-to-back games.
