CALGARY, AB -- The Calgary Flames announced today they have recalled goaltender Leland Irving from the Abbotsford Heat of the American Hockey League.

Irving, a native of Swan Hills, Alberta, has played six NHL games this season and registered his first career win on December 23rd in a 3-1 win in Vancouver. He has a .916% save percentage and a 3.22 goals against average with a 1-2-3 record. Five of his six starts have come in the second game of back-to-back games.
