Flames assign Leland Irving to Abbotsford
CALGARY, AB – The Calgary Flames announced today they have assigned goaltender Leland Irving to the Abbotsford Heat of the American Hockey League.
Irving, a native of Swan Hills, Alberta, played last night against the Anaheim Ducks, making 38 saves in a 3-2 loss. He has played six NHL games this season and registered his first ever win on December 23rd making 29 saves in a 3-1 win in Vancouver. He has a .916% save percentage and a 3.22 goals against average with a 1-2-3 record.
