Flames recall Irving from Abbotsford

CALGARY, AB -- The Calgary Flames announced today they have recalled goaltender Leland Irving from the Abbotsford Heat of the American Hockey League.

Irving, a native of Swan Hills, Alberta, played in his first five NHL games earlier this season and registered his first ever win on December 23rd making 29 saves in a 3-1 road win in Vancouver. He has a .915% save percentage and a 3.26 goals against average with a 1-1-3 record.
