Flames assign Leland Irving to Abbotsford
CALGARY, AB -- The Calgary Flames announced today they have assigned goaltender Leland Irving to the Abbotsford Heat of the American Hockey League.
Irving, a native of Swan Hills, Alberta, played in his first four NHL games and earned his first ever win on December 23rd making 29 saves in a 3-1 road win in Vancouver. He had a .908% save percentage and a 3.67 goals against average with a 1-1-2 record.
