CALGARY, AB -- The Calgary Flames announced today that forward Lance Bouma has been recalled from the Abbotsford Heat of the American Hockey League. Additionally, defenceman Scott Hannan has been placed on the IR with an upper body injury.

Bouma, a native of Provost, AB, is playing in his second professional season with the Heat. In 31 games this season he has recorded 3 goals and 3 assist with 53 penalty minutes. Bouma played 16 games with Calgary last season. He was Calgary’s 3rd round pick (78th overall) in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
