CALGARY, AB -- The Calgary Flames announced today that forward Roman Horak has been assigned to the Abbotsford Heat of the American Hockey League.

Horak, a native of Ceske Budejovice, is tied for 12th amongst NHL rookie scoring leaders with two goals and seven assists for nine points. His seven assists rank him 11th and he is 5th in rookie game winning goals.
