Letourneau-Leblond assigned to Abbotsford

CALGARY, AB -- The Calgary Flames announced today they have assigned forward Pierre-Luc Letourneau-Leblond to the Abbotsford Heat of the American Hockey League.

Letourneau-Leblond was plus 1 in 3 games with Calgary this season. In 64 games with New Jersey’s AHL affiliate in Albany last season he recorded 13 points while accumulating 334 penalty minutes. Originally drafted by the Devils in the 7th round of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, the Quebec native has played 40 career NHL games.
