Flames assign Bouma and Byron to Abbotsford

CALGARY, AB -- The Calgary Flames announced today that they have assigned forwards Lance Bouma and Paul Byron to the Abbotsford Heat (AHL). The Flames now have 28 players remaining at training camp: two goalies, nine defensemen and 17 forwards.

Paul Byron (C)

The Calgary Flames have concluded the pre-season with a 3-3 record and will open the regular season on October 8th at the Scotiabank Saddledome when they host the Pittsburgh Penguins.
