Flames announce 2011-12 hockey operations & training staff
CALGARY, AB -- The Calgary Flames are pleased to announce their hockey operations & training staff for the upcoming 2011-12 NHL season.

The hockey management team is led by General Manager Jay Feaster as well as his Assistant General Managers Michael Holditch (Hockey Operations and Senior Vice President) and John Weisbrod (Player Personnel). Craig Conroy will begin his first complete season in the role of Special Assistant to the General Manager along with Mike Burke, Director of Hockey Administration; Ron Sutter, Director of Player Development; and the newly added position of Director of Video and Statistical Analysis will be filled by Chris Snow. Brenda Koyich and Anita Cranston will continue in their role as Executive Assistants. Each member of the hockey management group report directly to Jay Feaster with the exception of Ron Sutter, who will report directly to John Weisbrod.

The professional side of the scouting department consists of Steve Leach, Michel Goulet and Steve Pleau who will operate in North America while David Volek will cover Europe. Each will report directly to John Weisbrod.

Tod Button, Director of Amateur Scouting, will oversee all amateur scouts including: Blair Reid, WHL East; Rob Sumner, WHL West; Tom Webster OHL; Fred Parker, OHL/QMJHL; Bob MacMillan, QMJHL; Jim Cummins USHL and Mid-West; Frank Anzalone, NCAA; Anders Steen, Europe; Ari Haanpaa, Europe; Richie Thibeau, part-time Maritimes; Mike Addesa, part-time New England. All amateur scouts will report directly to Tod Button, with Button reporting to John Weisbrod.

The Flames coaching staff consists of Brent Sutter, Head Coach; Craig Hartsburg, Associate Coach; Dave Lowry, Assistant Coach; Clint Malarchuk, Goaltender Coach; Jamie Pringle, Senior Video Analyst; and Rich Hesketh, Strength & Conditioning Coach. The training staff consists of Mark DePasquale, Equipment Manager; Corey Osmak, Assistant Equipment Manager; Morris Boyer, Athletic Therapist; Schad Richea, Assistant Athletic Therapist; Bryan Lentz, Massage Therapist; and Jules Carriere, Dressing Room Attendant. The Flames Head Physician is Dr. Kelly Brett. The coaching and training staff report to Brent Sutter and Sutter reports to Jay Feaster.

The Abbotsford Heat are the Flames primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League and are led by Troy Ward, Head Coach; Cail MacLean, Assistant Coach; Luke Strand, Assistant Coach; and Jordan Sigalet, Goaltender Coach. The training staff is made up of Chris Linder, Athletic Therapist; Peter Bureaux, Equipment Manager; and Scott Starrak, Assistant Equipment Manager.
