Saint Paul, MN – The Calgary Flames selected five players (three forwards, one defenseman and one goalie) at the 2011 NHL Entry Draft in Saint Paul, Minnesota during the seven round selection process.

On Friday evening, the Flames selected Swiss born left winger Sven Baertschi from the Portland Winterhawks (WHL) in the 1st round with the 13th overall pick.
