Quake & Tsunami Relief
Calgary, AB – The Calgary Flames Foundation for Life and the Calgary Hitmen will be donating the proceeds from their 50/50 Raffles to assist with relief efforts in Japan.  Proceeds from the March 16th 50/50 Hitmen game and the March 17th 50/50 Flames game will be donated to the Canadian Red Cross.
On March 11, 2011, northeastern Japan was struck by one of the most powerful earthquakes in recorded history – magnitude 8.9 on the Richter scale.
The Canadian Red Cross is a member of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.  In cooperation with the Japan Red Cross, teams are working around the clock to help millions of people left devastated by the recent earthquake and tsunami.
