Calgary, AB - The Calgary Flames are set to open their 2010 training camp starting Friday, September 17th with fitness testing and medicals at the Saddledome. The first on-ice sessions are scheduled for Saturday, September 18th with Group A starting at 9:30 am and Group B hitting the ice at 11:30 am.
TRAINING CAMP ROSTERS
The Flames will play seven preseason games (4 home and 3 away) in preparation for the start of the 2010-11 season.
The first game(s) will see the Flames take on the Vancouver Canucks in a split squad match up on Tuesday, September 21st at the Saddledome and in Vancouver at Rogers Arena.
Calgary opens up the 2010-11 regular season in Edmonton on Thursday, October 7th and will host the LA Kings for their home opener at the Saddledome on October 10th.
The on-ice sessions are open to the public for viewing.
