Flames charity golf classic raises $440,000
Annual charitable event reaches $4 million to date
Over 350 golfers participated in the 30th Annual Charity Classic which raised $440,000. Since its inception 29 years ago, the tournament has raised $4 million for local charities.

Also on the leaders’ board were teams led by Jarome Iginla who placed third in team net scores and Gord Baldwin who led his team to third place in team gross scores.
Funds raised will go towards the Flames Foundation for Life – the Flames charitable arm that builds on the philosophy of the original Flames Foundation and is dedicated to the following four pillars: Rotary/Flames House, Rotary/Flames Park at Ronald McDonald House, Rotary/Flames for Medical Advancement and Amateur Sports & Grassroots Initiatives.
