Calgary — A look at the numbers from the Calgary Flames - Rangers game at the Pengrowth Saddledome on Saturday, Nov. 7.

250 - Career goals for Langkow. The veteran centerman potted his fifth of the year in the first period, earning him that milestone. In six seasons with the Flames, Langkow has tallied 164 goals and 259 points. In 2006-07, during his second season as a Flame, he scored a career-high 33 goals.

4 - Number of goals for Iginla in the past three games. The captain has exploded offensively in the month of November after a hum-drum October that saw him score only four goals throughout the whole month.

3 - Assists on the night for former Ranger Nigel Dawes. He currently has four goals and ten points in his first 15 games as a Flame.

4 - Number of games Calgary has given up 30 or more shots on net. They are 3-1-0 in that span.

24 - Number of goals Dawes scored in two seasons with the Rangers. He didn't score a goal in his brief 12 game tenure with the Phoenix Coyotes.

3 - Number of hits Dion Phaneuf, Eric Nystrom and Dustin Boyd shelled out in 60 minutes.

100 - Percentage in faceoff wins for Iginla. Overall, the team won 62 per cent of all draws.

24:57 - Total ice time for workhorse Jay Bouwmeester. This is a slight decrease in his average work load of 27:08. The blueliner is second in the league in ice time with only Chris Pronger (27:17) averaging more.

Iginla has a better than point-per-game average against seven NHL teams: the New York Rangers, Columbus Blue Jackets, Los Angeles Kings, Nashville Predators, Phoenix Coyotes, St. Louis Blues and Tampa Bay Lightning ... Nigel Dawes faced his former club for the first time in his career. The only other team he hasn't faced? The Calgary Flames ... Through Conroy's 942 career games, he's faced the Rangers 15 times and has a point-per-game, registering five goals and 10 helpers ... The Flames last games on Nov. 4 & 5 were the first back-to-back road victories in franchise history ... Miikka Kiprusoff is two wins away from reaching 200 victories with the Flames ... 16 Flames have registered multi-point games this season.

QUOTEWORTHY

After a slow first period, the Flames were able to get their legs going in the final two frames. They worked hard and were able to capitalize on opportunities. Miikka Kiprusoff had one of his best games this season and was able to hold his team in when the Rangers cranked up the pressure.

Dion Phaneuf earned himself a giant roar of approval from the C of Red when he laid a huge open ice hit on Sean Avery. The super pest went down hard and then stumbled as he skated towards the Rangers bench.

While the Rangers were on the power play in the third period, sniper Marian Gaborik looked like he had a sure-goal when he backhanded the puck from right outside the crease. Somehow, Miikka Kiprusoff got his shoulder on the shot and sent it over the net to preserve the lead.
