The Calgary Flames are turning 30.

And that means Flames fans have a chance to win $30,000.

As part of the Calgary Flames 30th Anniversary Season and in celebration of 30 unbelievable years in Calgary, one lucky winner will WIN a $30,000 shopping spree to CrossIron Mills Shopping Centre at the Flames Home Opener October 1 vs. the Vancouver Canucks.

Flames fans can pick up a copy of the Calgary Sun beginning September 1, 2009 for their contest ballot and drop it off at any participating Calgary Co-op location or to CrossIron Mills Shopping Centre for their chance to qualify.

Four (4) weekly qualifiers will be randomly selected from all eligible ballots and will receive a pair of tickets to the Flames Home Opener on October 1, 2009 as well as a Calgary Flames  jersey.

The four (4) qualifiers will be narrowed down to two (2) finalists live on-stage at the Molson Home Opener Tailgate Party before the game.

These two (2) finalists will then participate in the on-ice shoot-out during the first intermission of the game to see who will win the $30,000 shopping spree.

The $30,000 Grand Prize Shopping Spree includes $5,000 at Pro Hockey Life, Lift Kings Dream Garage, and Sully’s.
