CALGARY FLAMES REASSIGN BRAD FERENCE AND CARSEN GERMYN TO OMAHA

Calgary, AB - Calgary Flames General Manager Darryl Sutter announced today that defenceman Brad Ference and forward Carsen Germyn have been reassigned to the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights (AHL).

After signing with the Calgary Flames this past summer, Ference saw his first action as a Flame on his first call up of the season on December 16th, and played in four road games with the Flames.

Carsen, playing in his third career NHL game, played in one game for the Flames on this recall, playing 9:38 against the San Jose Sharks on Saturday, December 23.

The Calgary Flames will enjoy a few days before returning to action at the Pengrowth Saddledome on Tuesday, December 26th when they host divisional rival Vancouver Canucks.
