CALGARY (CP) -- Calgary Flames defenceman Robyn Regehr was scratched from his team's lineup for the second straight game on Thursday night.

Regehr is nursing a knee injury and missed Game 4 against the Detroit Red Wings.

The big defenceman sat out Game 1 before returning last Sunday for the second game in Detroit, but ended up aggravating the injury during a collision with Red Wings forward Kris Draper.

Flames coach Jim Playfair had hoped to have Regehr back in the lineup for Game 4, but the defenceman was unable to participate in the morning skate.

Calgary trails the series 2-1 heading into Thursday's game.
