Hitmen playoff run ends
Tyson Barrie scored a power play goal at 8:13 of overtime to give the Kelowna Rockets a 3-2 win Saturday night and their third Western Hockey League Championship Title in franchise history.

The Rockets win the best-of-seven series 4-2 claiming the Ed Chynoweth Cup and a berth in the Memorial Cup.

Joel Broda forced overtime for the Hitmen scoring a power play goal with just over seven minutes remaining in regulation time

Bostjan Golicic had the other Calgary goal on a short handed first period break-away. 

Kelowna outshot the Hitmen 50-26 as Martin Jones was outstanding in goal making 47 saves.
