Cammalleri wins January Molson Cup

Forward named first star three times to start 2009

Mike Cammalleri has won the January segment of the Molson Cup.

Cammalleri was chosen as the first star in three games in January and the second star once and collected 20 points for the month. He is tied with Todd Bertuzzi for third place in the overall standings.

Cammalleri, acquired in a trade with Los Angeles in the summer, has 26 goals and 23 assists through 49 games and leads all Flames in goal-scoring.

He had 11 goals and three assists in 11 games in January.
