Flames have five picks in Entry Draft

Calgary, AB – The Calgary Flames are set for the 2007 NHL Entry Draft scheduled for June 22 and 23 in Columbus, Ohio at the Nationwide Arena.

The Columbus Blue Jackets play host to this year’s draft featuring seven rounds and a total of

211 picks.

North American players eligible for selection in the seven rounds of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft must be born between January 1st, 1987 and September 15th 1989 and non-North American players born between January 1st, 1986 and September 15th, 1989.

The first round will take place on Friday, June 22nd beginning at 5 pm (MT) and will be broadcast live on TSN. The remaining six rounds (2-7) will take place on Saturday, June 23rd.

The Flames have a total of five picks in this year’s draft.
