Bill Arnold is a jack-of-all-trades type of player. Need a shutdown centerman who can be counted on to play hard minutes? Arnold can do that. Need a two-way player who can take the pressure off his linemates in tough situations? No need to worry, Arnold can handle that. Need some offence? Arnold has shown he can put up some pretty nice numbers. He has surpassed the 30-point plateau in his last two seasons at Boston College, posting 36 points (17 goals, 19 assists) in 2011-12 and 35 points (17 goals, 18 assists) in 2012-13.
In addition to his versatility, Arnold is known for his unwavering work ethic. The phrase “leave it all out on the ice,” applies to how he approaches every shift. He also puts in a lot of extra hours at the rink and the gym, working diligently to ensure he is ready to make the jump to the pro ranks after he concludes his collegiate career at Boston College.
