ABBOTSFORD, BC -- The Abbotsford Heat picked up a 4-2 win over the San Antonio Rampage in their annual Teddy Bear Toss game.

Ben Hanowski, who was acquired by the Flames in the Jarome Iginla trade last spring, scored the game's first goal in the second period, spurring on Heat fans to toss bears on the ice for local charities. Michael Ferland and Mark Cundari picked up assists on Hanowski's eighth of the year.

Ben Street gave the Heat a 2-0 lead, with helpers going to Markus Granlund and Chad Billins, but the Rampage battled back to tie the game in the third. However, Max Reinhart scored the game-winner on the power play. Granlund and Street assisted on Reinhart's fourth of the season.

Granlund capped off the game with an empty-netter, giving himself his third point in the victory. Hanowski picked up his second point of the evening by being credited with the lone assist.

Through 21 games, Granlund has scored nine goals and has recorded 19 points. It is the Finn's first season in North America.

Joni Ortio made 29 saves and extended his record to 10-1-0 on the year.
