Christian Ehrhoff scored the winner in extra time with a shot through a screen.

3RD PERIOD SUMMARY: 2-1 FLAMES
Vancouver came out with a bit more life in the third and Alex Burrows was able to get his team on the scoreboard with his 26th of the year at 2:02. Daniel Sedin had the lone assist.
Kesler tied the game at 11:05 with a power play goal. Both Sedins assisted on the equalizer.

2ND PERIOD SUMMARY: 2-0 FLAMES
The Canucks ran into penalty trouble early in the period and the Flames made them pay. With Chris Higgins and Ryan Kesler in the sin bin, Calgary went to work with a 0:43 two-man advantage. Iginla potted his 43rd of the season during the 5-on-3, giving the Flames a 1-0 lead at 2:39. Tanguay (47) and Giordano (34) assisted.
The Flames added a second power play marker when Backlund was able to snap his own rebound past Cory Schneider to give him 10 on the season. Giordano (35) earned his second helper of the game on the tally.
